A big moment for icon: welcoming our new CEO, Leanne Cahill
We’ve got some exciting news to share.
Leanne Cahill, former CEO of Bravissimo, has joined icon as our new Chief Executive.
Leanne brings a standout mix of real-world retail experience and proper North East spirit. She started her career on the shop floor at M&S, before moving through senior roles at Legal & General, Walgreens Boots Alliance and Travelex. In 2017 she joined Bravissimo, stepping up to CEO in 2020, and later led the business through a successful sale to Wacoal Europe.
She’s also the Chancellor of the University of Sunderland – the first born-and-raised Sunderland graduate to take on the role. Pretty incredible.
This is a huge step forward for us.
